Born to Teach, Save Lives, and…..Sell?!?

I would like to introduce you to Dave Furey of Ossian Indiana. Dave has been working here part time since November of 2009 as a sales consultant.

Dave wasn’t always selling cars though. For 29 years he served as a business teacher at Norwell High School in Ossian Indiana. After retiring from teaching he served as the transportation director for 7 years. Over the years Dave also served as a volunteer Firefighter for 28 years and held the positions of assistant chief for 6 years and chief for 8 years.

Retirement gives him too much free time though. So he started working for an independent truck dealer and then moved on here to Custom Car Care.

Dave said his favorite part about working at Custom Car Care is “The friendly staff and management – always trying to meet the needs of the customer. Flexibility of scheduling is appreciated by the sales staff too!”

Working part time allows Dave enough free time to enjoy life and his favorite thing to do is spend time with his family. He has a daughter who lives in Las Vegas so he and his wife take frequent trips to visit out there!
